HOW TO USE the book?

Physics is basically a conceptual subject. Like other conceptual subjects like Mathematics, you need regular practice of the same in order to excel in it. As far as my view is concerned, Physics is like an art, it is gradually developed, provided you have a strong foundation and follow the correct path. This foundation in Physics is laid by regular revision of formulae (better on a daily basis) and the correct path is nothing but regular practice of MCQs (you can decide the frequency according to what best suites your schedule). These MCQs can be from your book of choice, for which you can take guidance of your teachers and internet. At this moment, I would like to elaborate about the strengthening of the foundation viz. how can you used this book for practice of formulae.

As I have said earlier, making formula lists is a vital need for practising formulae which I have given handy to you. You should revise these formula lists daily. According to me, best way to memorize and revise something is to write it. You need not write all formula lists everyday, but rather you can write it groups of related chapters. For example, today you can write the formula lists of Section Modern Physics, tomorrow half of the Mechanics sections, etc.; so as to suffice daily one hour of practice. But, when you write formula lists using this book, you should write only the formulae and not the descriptions of the same. No need to draw diagrams etc. Diagrams are given only for reference purpose so as to develop your visual memory. However some important points clearing confusions have to be written. Moreover, you can use short forms for words (which you understand). Check the example alongside for understanding exactly. (For original formula list refer Chapter Circular Motion)

Please note that I have tried the best to be in accordance with NCERT with respect to format, notations, etc. Almost all the symbolic notations for various quantities are as per NCERT, unless otherwise mentioned in few parts (for convenience). Also, to mention, the chapter name, segregation and sequence are according to convenience for study purposes. Please note that this book is all inclusive (with respect to formulae) for most entrance exams – NEET (UG), JEE (Mains and Advanced), {JIPMER, AIIMS}, KVPY, etc. But since all formulae are not required for all exams, please follow the following segregation system:

Please note that above segregation is a tentative one and it is the decision of the student to decide the level upto which he/she has to use the formulae, and the publishers are not responsible for any changes in accordance with respect to actual examination paper.

Along this I would like to mention some good Social Media handles for studying purposes: (Note that I may not have seen all videos, but these are suggestions based on personal survey)

These are only a few to be named. There is a lot of helpful material on internet when it comes to study. So, use the internet and related resources wisely and for your development and progress, not for wasting time. Also, I would take this opportunity to thank Aman Tilak with Prof. Piyush Pant and team for the immense help and guidance rendered to me.
